As we prepare to wave goodbye to awards season, some of Hollywood's biggest stars are gearing up for one final blowout... the 2025  Academy Awards.

Also commonly known as the Oscars, stars such as Angelina Jolie, Selena Gomez, and Timothee Chalamet - among many, many more are set to attend the prestigious ceremony, which recognizes the best achievements in the film industry.

But how do they get into tip-top condition, may you ask? Well, with the help of Dr Gizem, a talented facial aesthetics practitioner from Longevita Clinic in Chelsea, London, we can spill the celebs' rumored beauty prep secrets for such events.

“A lot goes into priming and prepping celebs for the big award shows, and having the skin look perfectly flawless is a big part of it," Dr Gizem pointed out.

"I believe bee venom facials, 24-karat gold facials, and caviar masks are some of the more extravagant treatments which might be used by some celebs to get that perfect glow and flawless skin before their red carpet debuts," she added.

"Bee venom facial is rather exclusive and, of course, quite expensive because of how the venom is obtained from the bees, "Dr Gizem said. She explained: "It works by making the skin believe that it has been stung by bees, which then stimulates the production of collagen and elastin.

"Skin can look particularly smooth and plump after this treatment. Even the Princess of Wales is rumored to be a fan of this!" she gushed.

"The 24-karat gold facial is another uber-expensive treatment, which is believed to help with signs of aging and also inflammation," the facial aesthetics practitioner went on.

While "it's supposed to give a shiny, healthy sheen to the skin," Dr Gizem warned: "It is difficult to say whether this treatment is actually worth the money, however, since its efficacy remains suspect."

Finishing off her list of extravagant facials was the caviar mask. Dr Gizem explained: "Because of the production costs of these sturgeon eggs, the ingredient itself is very pricey from the start.

"Still, because it is thought to help with signs of aging and help the skin become hydrated, it wouldn't be surprising for A-listers to get this treatment before the award shows. Angelina Jolie is rumored to have used caviar in her skincare.”

Of course, many celebrities have undergone more permanent - per se - treatments like fillers and surgery and they also have a trusty glam squad to ensure they are red carpet ready for events such as the Oscars.
