According to branding experts, Meghan Markle has been dubbed the "new Martha Stewart" following the launch of her lifestyle brand and Netflix series.

The Duchess of Sussex, once vocal about her feminist views, has embraced the role of a homemaker. She offers pantry items and cookware from the new brand As Ever and hosts her own Netflix cooking and lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan.

Her latest venture, As Ever, saw products flying off the website within hours, cementing her status as a domestic goddess and signaling a strategic shift from Royal duties to a focus on family and culinary arts. As experts have noted, the move is a big change in Meghan's image.

Newsweek's Royal correspondent Jack Royston observed, "That was her big rebrand. All of a sudden, she went from being the feminist who got angry that women were depicted as only being in the kitchen and then she reinvented herself as the traditional, at-home, in-the-kitchen cooking and hosting kind of image."

Echoing this sentiment, Daily Mail cited brand culture expert Nick Ede, who remarked, "With Love, Meghan, is Meghan being the new Martha Stewart.

Ede elaborated on Meghan's new direction, saying, "She loves home, she loves entertaining and she wants to show people how to elevate everyday situations by offering them lifestyle advice, showing them how to cook different meals and interviewing people that she finds interesting along the way."

Previously an advocate for feminism, Meghan Markle had notably addressed the issue at a UN Women event, proclaiming during a 2015 celebration of the Beijing women's conference, "I am proud to be a woman and a feminist."

Fast forward ten years, Meghan is now embracing her role as a mother and domestic connoisseur, sharing tips on hosting and creating wholesome recipes. Her Netflix series enjoyed immediate success, securing a second season straight after its debut, as well as racking up over 2.6 million views in its opening week, contributing to her supposed $100 million Netflix contract spanning five years.

The Duchess relaunched several items for her brand As Ever last month, including assorted herbal teas priced at $12 and restocked a favorite shortbread cookie mix with edible flower sprinkles and a pancake kit, both priced at $14. Additionally, she offered apricot and raspberry spreads and her 'signature' flower sprinkles.

Meghan once described her brand as "infused with joy, love, and a touch of whimsy."

Yet, the signature flower sprinkles under her brand have stirred conversation, leading the Duchess to clarify her choice during the Time100 summit in New York.

In conversation with Time CEO Jessica Sibley, Meghan Markle revealed, "Oh my gosh! You'd think I'm a little fairy tossing them around all the time...But, let's talk about flower sprinkles, because I think it speaks to the tiny moments of joy that are so effortless and just create a little bit of magic that we're all craving in our every day."
