Ana Navarro, co-host of The View, has made her position on Donald Trump's second term crystal clear, expressing that she refuses to let the President and his anti-immigrant policies diminish her love for the United States.

Navarro, a fixture on the ABC talk show known for its political discussions despite attempts to "tone down" the dialogue, has been vocal about her disdain for Trump and the MAGA ideology.

She has addressed his "King" social media post, which partly sparked the June 11 No Kings rallies, and criticized voters who 'screwed around' by casting votes for him, consistently showing her disagreement with Trump and his agenda.

As Trump intensifies his immigration crackdown—particularly against Latino communities—Navarro has once again voiced her opposition by condemning the President.

Her latest comments came during an episode of the Behind the Table podcast, where she and The View producer Brian Teta discussed issues such as immigration, the recent deadly floods in Texas, and Navarro's July 4 holiday overseas, reports the Irish Star.

While discussing her vacation to the Balearic Islands and southern France, Navarro, originally from Nicaragua, acknowledged feeling "blessed" and aware of her "privilege," yet also experienced "guilty" feelings considering the plight of Latinos being "hunted down."

However, she emphasized that she wouldn't allow Trump's policies to "steal" her affection for the American people and the nation she now considers home.

"During that time it was the Fourth of July, it's a holiday that I've always loved so much. I love every patriotic song, I just love the Fourth of July, and it felt so weird," she recounted. "And then I said to myself, 'I am not going to let Donald Trump steal my love of country, my patriotism, my love of patriotic songs and grilling and all of that.'".

"I just refuse to let him steal that, but this is a time when it is hard to celebrate freedom, when I feel that so many of our fundamental freedoms are under attack," she added.

She went on to criticize the immigration policies, which she believes disproportionately impact the Latino community, accusing certain government officials of being "racist.

"I think there are people in charge right now, that are part of this government, who are racist, and who would like to get rid of brown people," she declared. "And are doing everything they can to do so, by cancelling temporary protective status, by having this reign of terror where they're using military style raids in parks where children are playing."

She also highlighted that the enforcement efforts seemed to be targeting Latino immigrants specifically, noting that she didn't observe similar actions against white immigrants, despite there being "a lot of overstays" from regions like Eastern Europe and Canada.

Navarro then reiterated that it felt "weird" to express her happiness about the holiday, but she strongly believes in maintaining 'balance,' which prompted her to share snippets of her trip.

She echoed similar sentiments in a video she posted on Instagram during the holiday. In it, she expressed her gratitude for the country that welcomed her and her family when they moved there as children, and reaffirmed that she wouldn't let the current administration tarnish that.

"I refuse to allow Trump to steal my love of country," she captioned the video. "I am proud to be an American, even if I am ashamed of its government. I love America, through good times and bad.

"These are bad times. But in the midst of grilling and fireworks and parades, let's remember the values and ideals that have made our country a beacon of hope and freedom throughout the world," she concluded. "Do not be afraid to speak up and stand up. It is our right as Americans."
