The sudden passing of Michael Jackson in June 2009 at the age of 50 sent shockwaves around the globe.

Known as the King of Pop, Jackson's influence as a leading cultural icon of the 20th century is undeniable, with his music career spanning over four decades.

Jackson's impact was profound, and his death occurred during a significant period, with his final words reportedly connected to the cause of his demise.

At the time of his death, there were varying accounts regarding Michael Jackson's last words, but his physician, Conrad Murray, asserted that the singer uttered two phrases before passing.

Murray claimed that Jackson requested "milk" shortly before he died, which he explained was a moniker for Propofol, the drug later identified as contributing to Jackson's fatal intoxication along with benzodiazepine.

Propofol, the anesthetic Jackson allegedly sought, earned its nickname due to its white, milk-like appearance.

According to the LA Times, Conrad recounted Jackson's plea: "I'd like to have some milk. Please, please give me some milk so that I can sleep, because I know that this is all that really works for me."

The doctor shared that Michael, in reference to his ongoing tour, reportedly expressed: "Just make me sleep. Doesn't matter what time I get up... I can't function if I don't sleep. They'll have to cancel it. And I don't want them to cancel it, but they will have to cancel it."

Conrad, who was the last person to see the singer before he was urgently taken to the hospital, claimed these were Michael's final words.

Before Michael's death, the doctor had been administering various medications to him. Conrad was eventually found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for his involvement in Michael's demise.

During the proceedings, his medical license and authority to prescribe strong sedatives were terminated and remain so.

Lisa Marie Presley, Michael's ex-wife, also revealed her account of Michael's last words to her. She recounted their alarming conversation, stating:.

"The final part of the conversation was him telling me that he felt that someone was going to try and kill him to get hold of his catalogue and his estate. And I really didn't know what to do with that... He expressed to me his concern over his life."
