The trailer for Deliver Me From Nowhere was released this week, giving fans a glimpse at the upcoming movie, but not everyone was pleased with the casting
Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere official trailer
The first trailer for the much-anticipated Bruce Springsteen biopic, Deliver Me from Nowhere, has been released, and it's receiving mixed reviews.
Jeremy Allen White, known for his Emmy-winning performance, steps into the shoes of 'The Boss' in the film, which is slated for an October 24 release.
The movie chronicles the creation of Springsteen's 1982 album Nebraska, a record celebrated by fans and critics alike for its raw and personal nature.

In the trailer, we see White performing 'Born to Run,' and while some fans applaud his transformation, others remain skeptical.
One enthusiastic fan took to Instagram to express their approval: "Outstanding choice for an actor to portray Bruce... I mean Spot on! I can not wait to check this out."
Another chimed in with: "What a cast, what a magnificent choice Jeremy is to play Bruce. After watching this movie, I'm gonna need you to change the name from 'deliver me from nowhere' to 'deliver me to the hospital' because holy s**t."
However, not everyone was sold on the casting of the American actor, who is perhaps best known for his role as the fiery chef Carmy in Hulu's The Bear.
One less-than-impressed user commented, "Sigh... I adore Bruce, but I'm sorry to say that I just don't see Bruce Springsteen in this actor."

The criticism didn't end there. Some viewers took issue with Springsteen's outspoken political views, stating they would be skipping the film entirely.
During his May 15 concert in Manchester, the singer garnered attention after fiercely criticizing Donald Trump's time in office.
While setting the stage for "Land of Hope and Dreams," Springsteen, aged 75, declared: "The mighty E Street Band is here tonight to call upon the righteous power of art, of music, of rock 'n roll in dangerous times."
He continued with a pointed critique: "In my home, the America I love, the America I've written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous administration."
Springsteen rallied the crowd: "Tonight we ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experiment to rise with us, raise your voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring!".
However, not all fans were thrilled by his commentary.
One attendee expressed concern, saying: "Has the chance to be good but I get the feeling it might not perform very well considering he just alienated half his audience."
A disgruntled fan criticized: "Ahhh, now all his recent anti-American rhetoric makes sense now, he was trying to make himself relevant to drum up interest in this garbage."
Emotions ran high as another user vehemently posted: "Screw Springsteen's anti-American a**! Don't go see this. He gets zero support from me."
The upcoming film Deliver Me From Nowhere, featuring British acting icon Stephen Graham, will premiere on October 24th.
