King Charles has shown his true feelings for Sarah Ferguson following her divorce from Prince Andrew, according to a royal commentator.

The Duchess of York, aged 65, was spotted at the Wimbledon Championships, marking her first appearance there in several years. This follows her presence at Royal Ascot with other prominent members of the Royal Family.

Royal expert Ephraim Hardcastle suggests that these occurrences signal King Charles's intent to "rehabilitate" Sarah's public persona. In an article for the Daily Mail, he pointed out that the Royal Family even offered her a place in the carriage procession at Royal Ascot, an honor she reportedly turned down to avoid causing discomfort to Prince Andrew.

Hardcastle noted: "Sarah Ferguson's grin from Wimbledon's Royal Box...confirms her continued rehabilitation under King Charles. It follows Fergie's two appearances alongside the King at Royal Ascot.

"She was also offered a seat in the carriage procession down the course - another privilege denied her since her 1996 divorce. However, she declined - apparently to spare the feelings of her ex-husband."

While Sarah seems to be regaining favor within the Royal establishment, Prince Andrew's situation is quite the opposite.

Since stepping back from public roles in 2019 due to his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Andrew has largely remained out of the spotlight. The FBI announced on Monday that no charges would be brought following an investigation.

Since then, tensions have reportedly flared between him and his brother over the ownership of Royal Lodge, and further controversy erupted when Andrew's connections to an alleged Chinese spy were revealed.

Sarah has received widespread acclaim for openly discussing her diagnoses of skin and breast cancer, serving as a beacon of hope for many.

In a conversation with the Times earlier this year, she likened the impact of the disease to a detonation in one's life, prompting deep reflections on mortality.

She said: "It was hard. I'm generally a positive person but cancer is like a bomb going off in your life. One diagnosis is enough to deal with, but I had two in the space of a year. I don't mind admitting that my mind went to some dark places, reflecting on my own mortality.

"My family have been an immense support to me through this period. I've used meditation and mindfulness to help stay positive and balanced."

It's this unwavering optimism that has made Sarah such an influential figure and role model in recent times.

Her appearance at Wimbledon also marked her first public outing since her split from Prince Andrew.

Sarah was accompanied to the event by her 36-year-old daughter, Princess Beatrice, who joined her courtside during the sweltering summer heat.
