During the July 14 Hot Topics session, Navarro was discussing Trump's latest Truth Social tirade, including memes comparing himself to Superman. The co-host added: "And the latest was Trump picking a fight with our former View co-host Rosie O'Donnell, threatening to take away her citizenship."

"Let me just say this, this is not North Korea, this is not a monarchy. Donald Trump - and no president - has the authority or jurisdiction to unilaterally take anybody's citizenship away."

She continued: "Rosie O'Donnell is a natural born U.S. citizen born here. Born in Long Island in 1962. There's very few...crimes that a citizen can do, like treason or trying to overthrow the government. So if anybody needs to be worried, it ain't Rosie!"

"This is just him trying to throw stuff out there," she finished, as fellow co-host Whoopi Goldberg agreed with Navarro.

Fans also reacted to Navarro's comments, with one saying: "Tell him again Ana. He thinks he owns America now. How did we let his cray cray go this far? He is NOT God!"

"Rosie O'Donnell is not here for the bs from the felon in chief," another fan voiced. A third chimed in: "Rosie O’Donnell is a US born citizen! #Trump Cannot deport her a-- #TheView"

O'Donnell moved to Ireland with her 12-year-old child after Trump was elected again, causing Trump to add fire to a feud between the two that began in 2006 when she criticized him on The View.

Her latest opinions on Trump came during a recent episode of the Behind the Table podcast, where she and View producer Brian Teta chatted about the country's current issues such as immigration, the tragic floods in Texas last week, as well as Navarro's July 4 vacation.

While detailing her vacation to the Balearic Islands and the South of France, Navarro acknowledged feeling "blessed" to have her "privileges," yet also experienced "guilty" emotions as Latinos are being "hunted down" at home.

However, she made it clear that she will not allow Trump's radical policies to "steal" her admiration for the people of America and the nation she now considers home. Navarro is originally from Nicaragua.
