Donald Trump's bruising has sparked a health controversy has emerged once again as the president appeared to conceal his hands with cosmetics during his most recent press briefing.

During Tuesday, July 15, a close-up view of the president's hand revealed that the 79 year old leader's hand was coated in tan liquid foundation. This development follows mounting questions about Trump's recurring hand bruising, which observers initially noticed in spring 2024.

Audiences spotted the noticeable green bruise, which appeared to be shifting to purple, on his hand during his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the White House on Monday, July 14. Following the concerning photograph's circulation, some suggested it might have resulted from his firm handshake with Macron, while others wondered if it could indicate health complications as he ages.

Since these worries have surfaced, Trump's White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt faced inquiries about what caused the president's substantial bruise. Responding to questions, Karoline stated, "President Trump is a man of the people. His commitment is unwavering, and he proves that every single day."

The 27 year old added in a subsequent statement, "President Trump has bruises on his hand because he's constantly working and shaking hands all day every day.", reports the Irish Star.

Trump was spotted with noticeable hand bruising during a photo session before his extensive interview with TIME. When queried about the condition of his right hand, Trump explained, "It's from shaking hands with thousands of people."

At a press conference before boarding Marine One on the White House South Lawn, Trump tackled various topics, including the public's curiosity about the Jeffrey Epstein case.

Responding to inquiries about potential transparency in the Epstein investigation, Trump fervently supported Attorney General Pam Bondi, saying, "The attorney general's handled that very well. She's really done a very good job."

He elaborated, "And I think that when you look at it, you'll understand that. I would like to see that also. But I think the attorney general, the credibility is very important. And, you want credible evidence or something like that. And I think the attorney general has handled it very well."

Trump further commented on the credibility of the information surrounding the case, implicating high-profile figures: "And in terms of the credibility of the different things that they've seen, and I would say that, you know, these files were made up by Comey, they were made up by Obama, they were made up by the Biden -- and you know, we and we went through years of that with the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax, with all of the different things that we had to go through."

He concluded, "We've gone through years of it, but she's handled it very well, and it's going to be up to her. Whatever she thinks is credible, she should release."
